I had always hoped I would have a daughter with spirit - I wanted a little girl who wore sparkly shoes and tutu's with rainbow tights. I had decided long ago I would provide the clothes but when old enough she would make the decisions about what to wear. An individual is what I had hoped for - and last night I got it! Sparkle shoes (thanks converse for making more comfortable sparkly shoes the the Target brand), glittery pink tutu (which included the appropriate number of twirls which produced the added oohs and ahhs from grandma and mommy) and one very happy girl. (I tried to crop and red eye a photo in the new iphoto but botched it so this will have to do - as always everything is a work in progress).
